ok this isn't a life update or anything but yesterday i went to my bestie's house after youth day celebration since it was rainy and i was lazy to take the sheltered way back home

then we ended up having a sleepover <3 we studied bio though so 🤍☃️

so we were studying nutrition in humans in bio and then there was the thorax mentioned somewhere.

it sounded familiar. it rung a bell. "lorax", i thought.

curious, i asked her, "what's a lorax?" and she said it was the chest area. but i was confused because THORAX is the chest area. so i thought lorax would be somewhere nearby. maybe a part at the side of the chest or something. i was so sure it had something to do with the human body. and i searched it up.

ha

to my amusement and slight disappointment in my intellectual abilities, i finally realised the LORAX is an orange grumpy gremlin looking creature with more facial hair than my head could ever grow, rather than the chest or any other part of the body for that matter.

 I hate lab. SO MUCH. like who came up with the genius idea of practicals KYS literally omd. brother it’s js bio practical that is so complicated I swear chem and physics are normal and sane but bio js decided to spawn and make everyone’s life a living hell. AND I HAD A SEVERE 💩 emergency throughout the practical I visited the toilet at least 3 times oh god was that tmi….okay wtv ya AND THEN AND THEN my teacher makes it so scary it’s like if I don’t speed up and finish whatever on earth I’m supposed to do I’m gna die. and my lab partner is like a 183773382929276182 steps ahead of me and she’s SO NEAT I want to kms cus I literally get so stressed looking at her and then my teacher is like staring into my soul I CANT. and there’s alw a million steps to do for ONE set up in bio like pls don’t do this to me at 12 pm i want to sit in the aircon classroom and SLEEP. after a good 45 minutes of cries and panics across the room my teacher is like “okay guys! y’all are suooosed to be done w...

dear cedar np, it has been four years of resilience, four years of np, four years of perseverance, four years of persephone. it feels like just yesterday i was with our Metis Ma'ams learning Sedia and having 7-minute water breaks for no absolute reason. ah, those days. now, we've grown to become the Sec 4 squad we looked up to. time has flown by at the speed of the hentak timings that always got me breathless after we berhenti. we had seen our Metis, Hera, and Euphrosyne Ma'ams pop, and finally, it's our grand finale. thank you for making my secondary school life so worth it. there have been ups and downs, even ke belakang pusings in my journey, but nothing cheered me up the way cedar np did. from walking around during the cca exhibition, to joining the cca, to ac, to atc, to nc24, everyone has always been by my side, pushing me on like how our Ma'ams would remind us to raise our legs to 90 degrees during hentak.  pop was bittersweet, real nostalgic. to know that i ...
