wa2 is too soon.

week 4 - week 6 is crazy. it's just week 1 monday and you're telling me wa2 is in 3 weeks? let's list them out.

week 4 --> hindi, chemistry, physics, biology
week 5 --> english, a-math, e-math
week 6 --> geography but it's highlighted in yellow and marked with an asterisk so idk wtv that means.

that is unbelievably horrendous. preposterous, even. well at least i'm free before... some people. lit students have wa2 in week 8 HA. IMAGINE. well week 4 is going to be a nightmare because of ALL three sciences AND hindi, though i don't even have to try in hindi. but the sciences? physics is my worst. i love chem and bio and only now i feel the reason to actually pursue chem in jc. i was already set on bio at the start of ip3.

let's be for real though. my grades are actually so much better than last year. i got a grand total of two As in wa1 last year, and got that number up to 5. i have 7 examinable subjects. that's great but i can't just expect the same just yet. nuh uh. 

in term 3 we don't have wa3. we have practicals. PRACTICALS. i cannot do chemistry practicals for the sake of my life. there have been so many, in fact TOO MANY accidents with chemistry practicals.  

the manganese with hydrogen peroxide for the oxygen test? screwed that one right up. number one, i forgot my worksheet, so i was CLUELESS. number two, i heated the hydrogen peroxide instead of the splint and expected it to just work? then ms guan came up to me and just stared at me like i was some toad. then she told me i was supposed to put the manganese in the thing and i was like OH! then my rat-brain decided to put the MANGANESE which is a CATALYST into the HOT HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. year 4 people who have studied rate of reaction you know what's gonna happen. that thang ERUPTED. when i say erupted i mean ERUPTED. in this black goo that shot out onto the table, some on my worksheet. somehow ms guan was like "that's fine" and assured me that it was fine, but i really don't think it's fine. live laugh love ms guan.

moral of the story: bring your worksheet for science practicals. or you die.

biology practicals are meh but they make me feel like some witch making some potion. we had to  ferment yeast for this one practical. the jugs where we were supposed to collect the yeast had a LOT of yeast solution mixed with glucose, so it frothed up and looked like forbidden pudding. like it looked like foamy beer with extra foam and thinned throw-up. 

so yes you can imagine.

but anyway it's still so fun. upper sec sci practicals are so much better. but physics practicals is an exception. like wdym i have to measure the length of some string 3 times??? that's just pointless, and an utter waste of time. especially during practical exams. no thank you. in fact i should have taken double science instead of triple because i am dying with physics. i wish hindi was counted instead. then i would have gotten a 3.83 gpa for wa1. so as you can tell i am mad. 

anyway i will continue on my journey loves and will write soon. idk when but soon is soon.
