js woke up (still half-asleep)

HELLO! LONG BLOG TIME!

WAKE UP IT'S 2025. literally halfway into january and there have been so many things i have YET to tell. so here's a timeline.

late october (before my birthday so i think 20 oct):

I GOT MY MOM TO TAKE ME TO AN X-RAY SCAN FOR MY JAW. AND GUESS WHAT. MY JAW IS DEFORMED. the joint over there basically is too long (bone density issues fr) and it's not allowing my jaw to move, and it's on both sides. well done, jaw bone. i am still in agony to this day and i can't open my mouth fully without it hurting. i was supposed to get a mouth guard??? but i didn't because it was too expensive so might as well just leave it alone ig? (mom mentality) so that has remained stagnant.

7 nov - 13 nov:

VIETNAM TRIP WITH MY STEM AND RHS FELLAS!!!! holy guacamole with cheese it was the BEST time ever. i miss vietnam. i miss the hotel. i miss the food. the food was delicious but somehow i didn't even gain weight. now i have because of 'merica. UGHHHH I WANNA GO BACKKKKKKKKKK

23 nov - 29 dec:

i have an extra day in my life now whoopsie. my flight took off to seattle on 23 nov morning, and i landed in seattle on 23 nov morning. yippee. ALSO. MY LONGLEG AHH BODY STRUCTURE BE MAKING LONG FLIGHTS HARD FOR ME. i had to sit in my seat (thankfully aisle seat) for 14 hours. COMING BACK THO? 16 TORTUROUS HOURS. sir/ma'am i would like more leg space specially for long-legged human creatures. 

so i landed in seattle, then went to california, then when going to texas we had a stopover at LAX. texas was where i stayed for most of the trip, then we went for a LONGGGGG car ride through louisiana, mississipi and alabama (SWEEEEEET HOME ALABAMARRRRR) then stayed in georgia for a day before LONG DRIVE AGAIN TO FLORIDAAAAAAA where we stayed 2 days: 1 day to universal studios and the other for disney world! I TRIED BUTTERBEER FROM HARRY POTTER WORLD IN UNIVERSAL, AND IT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER CONSUMED. TOO GOOD. AND I GOT THE WAND OF SIRIUS! then we went back to georgia, and went to the coca cola museum (i got my peaches up in georgia) then we went back to texas. texas was lowkey boring EXCEPT. for the following:

- I WENT TO NASA. like actually saw a rocket AND TOUCHED IT. WOAHHHH THE SATURN V ROCKET WAS MAJESTICCCCCCC

- we fed seagulls! on a boat. so we got so many bread packets then i took one, and then HAND-FED THE SEAGULLS. like held the piece UP IN MY FINGERS, AND THE SEAGULLS CAME AND TOOK IT FROM MY HAND. YOOOOO THE BIRDS HERE ARE BUILT DIFFERENT. THEY'RE COMPLETE DIVAS. my sister called them big backs which is so real. the seagulls started coming up to me and i kinda just had to put the pieces in between their beaks? they were in GRABBABLE range.

- ICE SKATING OBVI OBVI. i didn't even know i could ice skate? new skill unlocked? it's like roller blading i guess. ez.

after that we left back to seattle with a three-hour stopover at pheonix, arizona. then we went back to seattle to leave for singapore the next day. ALSO. BAGGAGE PERSONNEL GOT BEEF W US OR SOMETHING? BECAUSE:

1. when we came to seattle from singapore one of our suitcases was SHATTERED. like where was cloth inside preventing our stuff from spilling out and IT WAS BADLY DAMAGED. BEYOND REPAIR.

2. when we were going to seattle from pheonix, ONE OF OUR SUITCASES GOT LEFT BEHIND. LIKE WE WERE IN SEATTLE AND THE BAG WAS AT PHEONIX, ARIZONA. HELLO????

3. when we came back to singapore the SAME BAG that got left in pheonix had an ENTIRE WHEEL RIPPED OFF. ALSO BEYOND REPAIR. i swear they got something against that one specific suitcase TT why y'all target the silver one with the minion tag on it that was my bag for the vietnam trip :(

also can we talk about the amber alerts? THE AMOUNT OF KIDNAPPING IN USA IS CRAZY.

1. a 16 y/o girl? in texas? NO THANKS. what the flip is going on. LIKE THAT KID WAS MY SIZE.

2. 2 KIDS. WHY. lowkey it was a buy one get one free it just happened that they were siblings. WHO DECIDES TO KIDNAP PEOPLE. 

3. SAME DAY AS THE TWO KIDS. 2 IN A DAY, 3 IN A WEEK. bye this was a family kidnapping. stuff rlly went down in that house :(

4. this was in seattle but idk what it was so uh. yeah.

I SAW SNOW IN SEATTLE. LIKE SNOWFALL! it was in leavenworth (search it up). it's kind of german core there tho, I LOVED IT! i got a pin for every place i went to and stuck a few on my bag as well because now i am a pin collector. 

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE AMPLIFIED FOOD PORTIONS? a burger was the size of my HEAD. the ice cream? THAT WAS THE SIZE OF MY FOREARM. HELP. AND I FELT LIKE I BELONGED BC MY HEIGHT ACTUALLY MADE ME FIT IN. #rightmarkeriscoolandunderratedbecausewehavetokeepcarryingeverythinglikeattendancelistandfirstaidandcasualtybook

first day of school:

here comes the jetlag. i fell asleep during assembly. i was in the last row in the corner (4Z supremacy) so i went unnoticed. YAY. well now jetlag's gone so that was all.

and that is my update. i have only just now realised it is 2025 and no longer 2024. i need to replace my connectivity cables to my brain. i'm severely delayed. i guess that's it for now, i'll try to blog more when i have time!
