post-ATC (lychee's ver)

here goes nothing

ok so WOW we survived ATC ! i honestly have a lot to say about it but im exhausted in every way possible but im so happy to be back home 👍👍

ALSO MA'AM SSL (i think she's Ma'am Aswatha. she HAS to be Ma'am Aswatha. Ma'am ssl's blogs are always giving Ma'am Aswatha. ill elaborate on why im convinced its Ma'am Aswatha later in another blog 👍👍) BLOGGED ABOUT US YAYAYAYAYAYA i <3 Euphrosyne Ma'ams

also there were instances during ATC where i wished that our Euphrosyne Ma'ams could be there with us because honestly they really would have enjoyed it :(

im just gonna blog about iconic/interesting stuff because im tired and sleep deprived

1. we cheered while hiking up to our Campsite ! with the other schools as well. it was very fun ❗️❗️

2. omg so many Cadet Inspectors were there?? i think there were 10 of them if i counted correctly. both male and female. they were very funny and scary at the same time i was so shocked at their dualities 😢😢 we got a lot of advice from them but overall we learnt a lot of things. will explain in a while.

3. we pitched our own tents in our tent groups ! but sleeping in it was a little hard because it was quite stuffy :( day 1 i struggled but day 2 most of us slept relatively well compared to day 1 because firstly the outer flaps were left open and secondly we were tired 😞😞

4. COMMANDING FOR THE WHOLE AREA HITS DIFFERENT 💯💯 NO JOKE. TAKE INITIATIVE GUYS ITS A GREAT FEELING LIKE THE WHOLE AREA LISTENS TO YOU AND THATS LIKE MORE THAN 50 PEOPLE ⁉️⁉️ #slayed

5. sorry but the boys 😭😭 I WANT TO CRY ALREADY THEY SO GOOFY FOR WHAT 😭😭 BROS WERE SO QUESTIONABLE I CANNOT but most of them cooperated so im not complaining. ALSO THERE WAS THIS ONE DUDE???? he was my buddy when i was the emcee for k2 graduation and then bro ended up in the same class as me in primary 6 somehow and now SAME ATC GROUP AND HE STILL DOESNT KNOW MY NAME AND CANT RECOGNISE ME I SWEAR the audacity *rolls eyes* 🙄🙄 but the coincidence wow

6. omg you know i ate lychee during our meal times 😭😭 THE IRONY IS 🙏🙏

7. as an introvert who is not exactly fond of talking to people i dont know and communicating with them i would like to proudly declare that i managed to talk to my group mates 👍👍 YALL CLAP FOR ME OK I OVERCAME MY STRUGGLES AND ACTUALLY TALKED TO MY GROUP MATES ☺️😭🙏

8. the toilets were actually not that bad i expected millions of spiders to be crawling around and drowning on the wet floor as i shower but no there were only 1-2 bugs in the drain and that too only in some toilets ! but got quite a number of bees and hornets flying around the field and canteen so i was a teeny bit jumpy 😟😟

9. it was so nice seeing our HO and CIs have fun together as they demonstrated a few cheers to us because we're only used to seeing the stricter side of them. it was as though they were living their secondary school NPCC life once again it was honestly so cute ❗️❗️ they looked so genuinely happy and excited ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

10. CAMPFIRE WAS AMAZING it was my very first campfire and it was actually a really nice experience 👍👍 all the cheering and watching group performances and seeing our Instructors be happy and excited was so fun i think that was my favourite part of the whole ATC experience !

11. before we knew it ATC was over and honestly i was happy i could go home again but also sad because ofc ill miss the whole experience 😢😢 during our last few moments we got everyone in our group to write down their phone numbers and now we have a group chat ! YAY ! and we also took a picture as an Area 🆙🆙 #AREA9SUPREMACY #AREA9FTW #AREA9ONTOP

12. overall ATC has taught us many things such as importance of taking accountability/responsibility for our belongings, importance of communication and teamwork, importance of respect for one another, and most importantly, one for all, all for one. we all got scolded a lot of times <a lot like A LOT A LOT A LOT> but we still persevered and managed to make it through. we made it out alive ! it also taught us the importance of being grateful for everything we have, for having a house to shelter us, for having enough food to eat, for having accessible water to drink, for having a bed to sleep in, for having a fan or even an air-conditioner, FOR OUR SQUADMATES OFC and so much more. we learnt the importance of valuing whatever we have, and not taking our privileges for granted. i think we all have improved after this short yet meaningful and enlightening <?> educational <?> IDK 3 day 2 night camp. i hope we can keep up our ATC standards and improve even more and show our NCOs that WE CAN DO IT 💪💪 our volume was way better, we took more initiative and overall it was just really good 💯👍 jiayou guys we can definitely do it ❗️❗️

13. finally while leaving our Campsite we hiked back down while cheering with our HO, CIs and squadmates ! cheering with squadmates is such a vibe. leading cheers is such a vibe. ATC was honestly such a vibe 😞😞

14. and then i came back home and took a 1 hour (or even longer) shower and washed my hair and scrubbed my face a million times and applied moisturiser on my face and lips and then i ate food <i LOVE food> and listened to music. ive been blogging for quite sometime now. sorry its super long but a few Hera Ma'ams wanted to know about ATC <and im pretty sure Euphrosyne Ma'ams do too> LOL SO HERE IT IS ❗️❗️

i hope that all of our squadmates who are unwell get well soon 😢😢 take care guys ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

i think that is all for ATC ! if you read this till the end ilysm ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❗️ Ma'ams i hope you had fun reading this too <3

goodnight❗️rest well persephone

i love yall
