polyclinics. i fell sick. i saw the doctor at the polyclinic. there was only one doctor serving the flu patients. WHAT? that was the first shock of the day. i went into the consultation room. he spoke to me in chinese, could not understand his accent. WHAT? (yes i'm chinese that's why it's a disgrace to my race ;-;) my mom told him my highest temperature was 40.2°C. he asked if i needed to go to the hospital to check for brain damage. WHAT? like bro my fever may be high, but i'm still alive and kicking. i could still tell you (a+b)^2 is a^2 + 2ab + b^2 OK. next shock: 20 tablets of panadol costs $0.35, but 6 flumicil tablets costs $6. WHAT? 

other people: first day went well! me: on mc. my throat is swelled up. it's sooooo red. i vomitted, yucks. my fever going at 39.8 degree celsius. at this point i don't even know if i can make it for the last day of bcl 😥😥😥 I RLLY WANT TO GO TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM 😡 virus why must you attack me like this :( ihy . i can't even swallow anything (not even water) bcs my throat will hurt so much. 😭 i feel like i should go on a iv drip idk hopefully i get better soon because this is not called extended holiday (unlike my friend who caught covid and literally binge watching anime all day long) update day 2: 40.2 degree celscius fever. i feel so dizzy.  update day 3: went to the doctor's. said i could go back to school on friday.  WHY IS IT ALREADY FRIDAY.  legit 1 week school holiday does not even feel like it's 1 week 😭 feels like it's only a few days (less than a week)...why can't MOE just give us more holidays :( 1 week sure not enough to recover our pain from months of school.
